<p>In this paper, we introduce the concepts of G-Hausdorff Chatterjea mapping and proximal G-Hausdorff Chatterjea mapping in <InlineEquation ID="IEq10"> <EquationSource Format="TEX">\(S_b\)</EquationSource> <EquationSource Format="MATHML"><math> <msub> <mi>S</mi> <mi>b</mi> </msub> </math></EquationSource> </InlineEquation> metric spaces. These notions serve to generalize the existing generalized Chatterjea mappings under certain specific conditions. Furthermore, we provide an application of these results to a nonlinear Volterra integral equation (VIE) of the second kind with a discontinuous kernel.</p>

摘要

In this paper, we introduce the concepts of G-Hausdorff Chatterjea mapping and proximal G-Hausdorff Chatterjea mapping in \(S_b\) S b metric spaces. These notions serve to generalize the existing generalized Chatterjea mappings under certain specific conditions. Furthermore, we provide an application of these results to a nonlinear Volterra integral equation (VIE) of the second kind with a discontinuous kernel.
