摘要

In recent years the scientific literature has increasingly concentrated on the different etiologies of acute kidney injury (AKI) as well as working out specific pathophysiological and therefore therapeutic concepts. A septic, cardiogenic or toxic AKI is subject to other forms of regulation and requires an individualized treatment. With respect to kidney replacement procedures, evidence-based recommendations on the start, on the modality, on anticoagulation, on anti-infective treatment and on termination are now available in Germany. Both taken together can possibly further improve the treatment of patients with severe AKI.
