<p><i>Lachnocladium</i> Lév., typified by <i>L. brasiliense</i> (Lév.) Pat., accommodates species with coralloid, pallid to ochraceous or brownish basidiomata, dextrinoid dichohyphidia, hyaline, thin-walled gloeocystidia with resinous contents, hyaline, subglobose to ellipsoid, thin-walled, smooth basidiospores, and is usually found in tropical forests. During surveys in the Brazilian Amazon and Northeast Atlantic Rainforest, several specimens of <i>Lachnocladium</i> were collected. After morphological and DNA analyses based on ITS and nc 28S rDNA, some of them could not be assigned to known taxa, and, thus, three new species are proposed. <i>Lachnocladium grandisporum</i> has brown tints, robust coralloid basidiomata, large, broadly ellipsoid to elongate basidiospores, and numerous cylindrical hyphidia spread in the hymenium. <i>Lachnocladium jamariense</i> has ochraceous to light brown, slender coralloid basidiomata and large basidiospores, while <i>L. urueuwauwau</i> has brown tints, slender coralloid basidiomata, and small basidiospores. Description, images, and discussion of the studied species are provided, including the epitypification of <i>L. brasiliense</i>.</p>
