摘要

Hermatomyces species are widely distributed in terrestrial and freshwater habitats worldwide. The most distinctive features of the asexual morph of Hermatomyces are sporodochial conidiomata, short micronematous conidiophores and dimorphic conidia (cylindrical and lenticular). During a survey of fungal diversity on Fagales litter in China, three species were collected from dead branches of Alnus sp. (Betulaceae), Lithocarpus xylocarpus (Fagaceae) and Lithocarpus sp. (Fagaceae). Based on morphological characterization and phylogenetic analyses of combined LSU, ITS, TEF1α, and RPB2 sequences, two new species (H. nujiangensis and H. yunnanensis) and one newly collected species (H. hainanensis) were described. Hermatomyces nujiangensis and H. yunnanensis formed distinct clades in the phylogenetic tree. Both species only have lenticular conidia, and the characteristics of conidiophores and conidia distinguish them from other species of Hermatomyces. This study examines and compares them with morphologically similar species and phylogenetically related taxa, presenting detailed illustrations and detailed descriptions of the isolates along with molecular data.
