Vermittlung der Good Practice-Kriterien der Gesundheitsförderung in der Hochschullehre im D-A-CH-Raum (Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz)
摘要
The Criteria for Good Practice in health promotion (CGP) of the Collaborative Network for Equity in Health are key for quality development in social situation-related health promotion. Although their application is well established in practice, there is still a lack of systematic evidence on their use in higher education teaching across the German-speaking countries Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH region). This study aimed to assess the dissemination of the CGP in higher education and to identify lecturers’ support needs in the fields of public health, health sciences, and health promotion and prevention.
MethodsA mixed methods design was conducted. A standardized online survey of lecturers from 42 study programmes at 23 higher education institutions in the DACH region (n = 39) was complemented by 8 semi-structured expert interviews, which were analyzed using qualitative content analysis.
ResultsThe CGP were found to be widely known among lecturers and broadly integrated into teaching. Existing materials, particularly the German-language brochure, the Collaborative Network’s website and the practice database, were rated as suitable. At the same time, lecturers expressed a clear need for didactically prepared, modular teaching materials, for stronger links between theory, practice examples and scientific evidence, and for a more user-friendly organisation of existing resources.
ConclusionThe findings underline the value of the CGP as a didactic tool for conveying theoretical knowledge in a practice-oriented manner and for helping students understand the quality of measures aimed at reducing health inequalities. Based on the survey findings, teaching materials for higher education were made available on the Collaborative Network’s website, and networking among health promotion lecturers in the DACH region was initiated.
