Gesundheitsversorgung beziehungsorientiert denken – strukturelle Voraussetzungen für die gelingende Bewältigung von Krisen
摘要
The successful management of a mental health crisis with the help of professionals is essential to proactively prevent long-term negative consequences. In coping with a crisis, the relationship between individuals experiencing a crisis and professionals plays a central role. For a supportive relationship to develop, a health care system that fosters the establishment of this relationship is needed.
MethodsAccordingly, this article explores how a health care system should be designed, so that professional relationships are perceived as supportive from the perspective of service users. Based on the results of a qualitative study and a narrative review of the existing literature, the German health care system is analyzed in relation to this question.
Results and conclusionThe analysis reveals that the current system only partially meets relational needs. To enable the development of supportive relationships, an individualized approach to care, comprehensive outpatient crisis services, transparency regarding available support options and the removal of access barriers are necessary.
