Spectroscopic Characteristics and Gain Calculations of Random Gain Media Fabricated from Metal Oxide Nanoparticles Embedded in Different Laser Dyes
摘要
Epichlorohydrin, clear resin media, held Rhodamine, Fluorescein dyes, and copper oxide nanoparticles were used to make solid random gain media that produce random lasers. The dye was doped with the other dye to fabricate more samples with the same nanoparticles. The spectroscopic characteristics of the fabricated samples, mainly absorption and fluorescence, were introduced. As well the gain calculations were carried out to compare the fabricated samples. The results showed that the Rhodamine B dye doped with Fluorescein dye exhibits higher fluorescence intensity when compared to Rhodamine B alone, whereas the gain coefficient of the Rhodamine B dye alone is not comparable.
