Fibroseerkrankungen der Hand bei Diabetes mellitus
摘要
Fibroproliferative diseases of the hand are a frequent but often underdiagnosed complication of diabetes mellitus. Conditions such as limited joint mobility, stenosing tenosynovitis (trigger finger), carpal tunnel syndrome and Dupuytren’s disease occur 2–8 times more frequently in people with diabetes than in the general population. The pathogenesis is essentially driven by the accumulation of advanced glycation end products in collagen fibers. Early recognition, optimized glycemic control and stepwise treatment can preserve hand function and improve the quality of life.
