摘要

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the management of an endoscopy unit offers numerous possibilities, ranging from improved planning and documentation quality to optimized inventory management. In anesthesia and surgery, AI is already being used and analyzed to optimize patient planning, calculate surgical times, and determine monitor requirements. Applied to endoscopy, the use of AI could simplify procedure planning and processes in the future and, thus, support a dynamic optimization of the distribution of personnel resources and room utilization. AI reporting systems for automated documentation of findings using language and image processing technologies will improve the quality of medical documentation and also save time. Machine learning in goods logistics and warehousing has the potential to avoid shortages of goods and reduce excessive warehousing by dynamically adapting to changes in demand.
