A systematic review and framework for organizational agility antecedents towards industry 4.0

In the backdrop of Industry 4.0, organizations grapple with the intricate web of antecedents influencing agility, requiring a comprehensive understanding to navigate this transformative era successfully. Organizational agility stands as a linchpin, facilitating swift adaptation to dynamic environments, fostering innovation, and maintaining a competitive edge in the ever-evolving business landscape. This systematic review addresses the need for consolidating and synthesizing the fragmented literature on organizational agility, particularly within the context of Industry 4.0, to provide a clear and comprehensive understanding of the key factors at play. The study reviews literature spanning from 2014 to 2023, analyzing 64 studies, providing a systematic exploration of organizational agility within the Industry 4.0 framework. A central finding is the identification and clarification of antecedents influencing organizational agility in Industry 4.0 adoption. The study's significance underscored by its contribution to providing clarity in the understanding of organizational agility.
