Performance Evaluation of Full-duplex Cooperative Downlink NOMA with Direct Link
摘要
This paper investigates the performance of a full-duplex relaying scheme with a direct link from the base station and self-loop interference in a downlink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system. In prior work, maximal ratio combining (MRC) was employed to combine signals from the direct and relay links in the presence of residual interference (RI), where the ergodic rate was inaccurately assessed due to the assumption of coherent combining. In this study, an exact expression for the MRC output signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is derived, and simulation results for the outage probability (OP) and ergodic rate are presented. In addition, closed-form expressions for the OP and ergodic rate of the far user under RI are obtained using the switch-and-stay combining technique. The impact of RI on the performance of the far user is further analyzed through numerical results to provide deeper insights.
