Green Wireless Communication
摘要
Green technology has emerged as an essential factor in the development of networking methods and communication technologies. Energy-efficient networks and computing approaches have recently gained a lot of attention. Green technologies promote environmental sustainability as well as energy effectiveness economics. Energy-efficient systems are becoming increasingly important for researchers, businesses, and industries to decrease the power consumption of communication systems in households, headquarters, and data center settings. Green networking solutions help to reduce energy consumption by integrating energy-efficient network devices for a wide range of tasks and communication areas. This research suggests that the essential elements of green wireless communication include device-to-device communication (D2D), mmWave, heterogeneous networks, and massive MIMO. In order to establish an effective green wireless communication (GWC) strategy, it is more important to learn the limitations of existing methods. As a result, this review article examines several methods utilized to enhance effectiveness in GWC from various devices and discusses the advantages and limitations of each approach, including the years 2018–2023. This paper aims to provide a quick analysis of the challenges and opportunities of green wireless communication. A wide range of techniques and technologies are covered in this review article that focuses on innovative strategies, network architectures, and energy-efficient wireless communication with the goal of lessening the environmental impact of wireless networks.
