<p>In this paper I will argue that rhetoricians should make their presence felt more strongly in Argumentation Studies. By doing that, rhetoricians can learn much, but they can also contribute much. Primarily, rhetoricians can contribute a <i>rhetorical</i> argumentation theory. By this, I understand a theory about argumentation <i>in the political and civic sphere</i>.</p>

摘要

In this paper I will argue that rhetoricians should make their presence felt more strongly in Argumentation Studies. By doing that, rhetoricians can learn much, but they can also contribute much. Primarily, rhetoricians can contribute a rhetorical argumentation theory. By this, I understand a theory about argumentation in the political and civic sphere.
