<p>A new species <i>Hormius orthagae</i> Gupta &amp; Belokobylskij <b>n. sp.</b> (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Hormiinae) is found parasitizing young larvae of mango leaf webber <i>Orthaga exvinacea</i> (Hampson) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) feeding within the leaf webs of <i>Mangifera indica</i> L. in Central India. In the present paper, the new ectoparasitoid species is described and biological notes on its host are provided with illustrations.</p>

摘要

A new species Hormius orthagae Gupta & Belokobylskij n. sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Hormiinae) is found parasitizing young larvae of mango leaf webber Orthaga exvinacea (Hampson) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) feeding within the leaf webs of Mangifera indica L. in Central India. In the present paper, the new ectoparasitoid species is described and biological notes on its host are provided with illustrations.
