Mathematical Modeling of Welding Deformations of Large-Scale Cylindrical Shells Using the Shrinkage Function Method
摘要
An efficient approach for predicting residual welding deformations in large-scale cylindrical structures has been developed, based on the combined use of the general thermoplasticity method and the approximate shrinkage strain method. Verification and validation of the computational algorithm for shells with longitudinal and circumferential welds confirmed sufficient engineering accuracy of the results obtained, as well as a significant reduction in the computation time for deformations of large-scale structures with a large number of welds.
