Multi Parameter Sweat Detection System Based on Screen Printed Electrodes

Human sweat contains abundant biochemical markers, including electrolyte ions, metabolites, and exogenous substances, which can potentially reflect the body’s metabolic state and overall health. With the advancement of flexible wearable and embedded technologies, sweat has emerged as a promising substitute for blood in applications such as exercise evaluation and daily health monitoring. However, existing sweat detection methods rely on specialized laboratory equipment and trained personnel. Consequently, there is a scarcity of research on portable, multi-parameter, real-time monitoring systems capable of meeting daily monitoring needs.This paper presents a multi-parameter sweat analysis system based on screen-printed electrodes, capable of real-time monitoring of glucose, lactate, and sodium ion concentrations in sweat. The system comprises a signal acquisition module, a signal processing module, a wireless communication module, and an intelligent terminal display module. Experimental results demonstrate that the system can dynamically monitor the target analytes within preset concentration ranges (glucose: 0–200 µmol/L, lactate: 0–100 mmol/L, Na+: 0–100 mmol/L). Compared with traditional blood testing methods or single-parameter sweat sensors, the system meets the daily exercise evaluation and health monitoring needs of non-experts, exhibiting excellent practicality and promising application prospects.
