Design and Analysis of Hexagonal SRR Based Quadband Terahertz Absorber
摘要
In this work, a quadband absorber for terahertz applications is proposed and validated the designed absorber using an electronic circuit analysis approach (ECA). The current design is exhibiting a novel low-profile structure in compared with literature and it is a quad band absorber with dimensions of 10 × 10µm2. Graphene-based concentric hexagonal split ring resonators (SRR) has been used to achieve highly efficient metal-free absorption. To attain high absorptivity, dimensional and material based parametric analysis is performed for graphene’s chemical potential. When the chemical potential value is 0.6 electron volts, the proposed absorber has been achieved high absorption percentage with polarization angle of 90 degree. Based on the ECA technique results, the proposed quad band absorber is providing optimized performance characteristics at 1.4, 3.1, 3.5 and 7.18 THz respectively.
