Dewatering Under Permafrost Conditions with Consideration of Phase Transitions, Variations in Hydraulic Conductivity, and Soil Storage Properties
摘要
Calculations of groundwater inflow into a construction excavation pit for hydro-technical utilities were performed using the DHI FEFLOW software package with the FreezeThaw75 module, taking into account freezing–thawing processes. Calibration simulations were carried out on one-dimensional models corresponding to five real thermometric boreholes and the thermophysical properties of the foundation soils were determined. As the open pit bottom progressively froze, a reduction in groundwater inflow was observed. Additionally, scenarios of artificial ground thawing were analyzed, including the use of electric probes and brine injection into wells.
