<p>The possibility of using sandstones and claystones of the Early Permian age as materials for foundations and earthworks is explored. The dependence of maximum dry density and optimal moisture content on soil composition and condition is obtained. This relationship can be used to preliminarily determine the optimal composition of a sandstone and claystone mixture, as well as to calculate the maximum dry soil density and optimal moisture content for the construction of grounds, earthworks (dams, embankments), and roadbed fill.</p>

摘要
