摘要

Experimental studies of the deformation properties of pebbles have shown that layered and compacted pebble soils have greater compressibility across the stratification axis than along the stratification. Polynomial dependences of the shear angle on the orientation of the main stress, soil density, and stress at the shear site are compiled. Numerical studies of the stability of the slopes of a high dam were carried out taking into account anisotropy in the author’s program OTKOS-22. Nomograms for dams of different types, heights, and densities of shield prisms with correction coefficients were constructed to take into account the influence of the strength anisotropy of pebble soil.
