Influence of the Volume and Size Ratio of the Underground Karst Cavity on the Deformation of the Soil Stratum

The development of the “standard curves” methodology, which was started earlier at the NIIOSP, was continued in relation to the description and calculation of soil deformations above the cavities formed in the karst rocks. The dependence of the parameters of the cumulative reservoir on the size of the initial closed cavity and the depth of its location in the karst rock massif is established for the accepted scheme of the karst cavity development and collapse. The deformations and settlements depending on the geometry of the initial cavity and the cumulative reservoir are investigated.
