<p>The present article was based on the report given at the international geotechnical conference named after Prof. Z. G. Ter-Martirosyan (MGSU, September 2024). The authors consider the experience of using auger cast piles to stabilize the tilts of buildings, reconstruct various sites, and provide reinforcement under the conditions of weak, water-saturated soils. Suggestions are given for improving the piling technology and design methods. The article considers the prospects of using auger cast piles in permafrost and thawing bearing soils in the Arctic regions of Russia in the context of climate change.</p>
