<p>A counter-productive division exists, both formal and informal, separating social science and natural science. Human society is rarely studied in conjunction with other known animal societies, and objections to integrating natural science and social science in this way are typically rhetorical, not substantive. Here, I make a case for naturalizing the study of society.</p>
