Investigation of properties of TiAlCO wear-resistant coatings
摘要
The properties of wear-resistant coatings based on TiAlCO, which were deposited using vacuum-arc deposition equipment, are studied. The coatings are formed in the modes involving a variation of the gas mixture proportion aimed at identifying the relationship between the reaction gas ratio and the properties of the resulting coatings. Such characteristics as phase composition and microhardness are analyzed, and machining tests are performed. The deposited coatings possess a number of advantageous properties in terms of their tribological applications—improved wear resistance and microhardness.
