摘要

Cis—trans isomerization of dihydroquinolylazotetrazole dyes via thermally induced excited triplet state was experimentally proved. The isomerization kinetics was studied in the presence of tetrabutylammonium iodide (TBAI) and iodobenzene (PhI), compounds with the heavy atom. The simultaneous participation of two routes, singlet and thermally induced triplet states, in the rotation mechanism of cis—trans isomerization of azo dyes has been shown for the first time. Special attention is given to differences in the mechanism of action of TBAI and PhI.
