<p>A series of new 2,9-disubstituted imidazo[1,2-<i>a</i>]benzimidazoles, mainly with biphenyl groups, were synthesized. <i>In silico</i> methods and pharmacological studies showed considerable kappa-opioid receptor (KOR) affinity and analgesic activity of some of these compounds.</p>
