Passive Microwave Radiometer of the 3-mm Wavelength Range for Routine Observations of Natural Environments
摘要
We describe a cost-effective microwave radiometer designed for routine remote observations of natural environments in the 3-mm microwave band under field conditions. The radiometer is designed for long-term operation in field experiments, ensuring high measurement stability. The operating principle is based on an automatic adjustment method that sets the measurement path to a zero-balance state using synchronously performed pulse-width and amplitude modulations. The fluctuation sensitivity is 0.1 K with a signal integration time of 1 s, and its absolute accuracy is ±1 K in the temperature range from -20 to +40 degrees Celsius.
