<p>We consider a method for estimation of the initial approximation of the coordinates of a radio emission source located on the Earth’s surface using a limited passive satellite constellation. The procedure for formation of the initial approximation is based on solving a system of equations of the difference-range and difference-Doppler methods, which can be reduced to a linear form. The considered procedure allows one to significantly increase the computational efficiency of determination of the radio emission source coordinates.</p>
