<p>We discuss the symmetric relationships with sign flips in terms of two-parameter mock theta functions by using the transformation lemma and Appell–Lerch sums. Many dual identities associated with classical mock theta functions are given as applications, and, new representations for certain classical mock theta functions are derived subsequently. In addition, as a byproduct, a pair of symmetric identities related to theta series are reproved.</p>
