摘要

Consumer attitudes are important aspects in the analysis of consumer behavior. The given study tries to standardize the tools of consumer attitude as the reliability and validity of their consumption are systematically tested because the existing tools are wrong when it comes to measuring consumer attitudes in the context of Cause-Related Marketing of Fast-moving consumer goods. A purposive sampling method was employed in the study, and three hundred respondents, who were the consumers of Fast-moving consumer goods that were related to Cause-Related Marketing, were involved. A properly developed scale of consumer attitude with five factors that help in forming the attitude of the consumers towards Cause-Related Marketing was used in collecting the data. Cronbach’s alpha was used in calculating the reliability of the scale. These factors were developed on the basis of some of the theoretical frameworks, like the prosocial behavior theory, the theory of reasoned action, and the Attribution Theory. Tool Validation encompassed content, construct, exploratory factor analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis. The study is a significant resource to other research works, especially in the Fast-moving consumer goods industry, applying Cause-Related Marketing and other industries to gauge consumer attitudes.
