<p>Quantum network coding aims to address the communication congestion problem of bottleneck channels. Different from existing methods, we propose a counterfactual quantum network coding protocol. This protocol requires not only no physical particle traveling through the bottleneck network but also no pre-shared entanglement between the senders, and thus, it provides a new perspective for the development of quantum network coding theory.</p>
