<p>In response to increasing environmental challenges, the hospitality sector is turning towards green human resource management (GHRM) as a crucial strategy for sustainable development. This research investigates the impact of green HRM on green recovery performance (GRP) in public service sector of Pakistan. Data from 372 employees working in the government managed guest houses show that GHRM significantly influences green recovery performance. Moreover, green commitment mediates and spiritual leadership moderates GHRM – GRP relationship. This study provides insights into fostering green initiatives to influence recovery efforts, offering guidance on leveraging environmental commitment and spiritual leadership to enhance sustainability outcomes.</p>
