Digitized Administrative Functions and Institutional Efficiency: A Study of Some Selected Tertiary Institutions in Taraba State, Nigeria

This study examines the digitization of administrative functions and its effect on institutional efficiency in selected tertiary institutions in Taraba State, Nigeria. Anchored on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Institutional Theory. A descriptive survey design was employed. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and interviews. The study concludes that digitized functions have proven to be a powerful driver of administrative efficiency in Taraba State’s tertiary institutions, but the full potential of e-governance will only be realized when institutions expand digitization to strategic and managerial areas, supported by robust infrastructure, continuous training, and strong policy backing.
