摘要

This paper examines the state of corporate security in Slovenian organisations, based on a national survey of managers and employees. It explores perceptions of corporate security’s importance, the implementation of security processes, and awareness of legal obligations, notably the Whistleblower Protection Act. While corporate security is widely recognised as strategically important, significant gaps remain in practice—particularly in physical security, business continuity, and reporting procedures. Managerial and employee perspectives differ notably. The study concludes that a more integrated, professionalised approach is needed to embed corporate security into organisational operations.
