<p>This research investigates the leadership and management landscape within Türkiye’s social services, focusing on provincial directors in the Ministry of Family and Social Services. By analyzing the publicly available CVs of these directors, the study examines their educational profiles, professional histories, and specific competencies to reveal prevalent trends in their managerial development. A core objective is to evaluate how well the directors’ skills correspond to the requirements of their positions. The study finds a variety of educational and professional backgrounds. The findings underscore the importance of reinforcing management and leadership skills in the social services sector in Türkiye.</p>
