<p>An HPLC method for quantitative determination of ginnalin Ain leaves of the Tatar maple (<i>Acer tataricum</i> L.) has been developed. The content of the dominant polyphenolic compound ginnalin A (2,6-di-<i>O</i>-galloyl-1,5-anhydro-D-glucitol) in the leaves of <i>Acer tataricum</i> L. varied from 13.17 ± 0.04 to 17.78 ± 0.05%. The error in a single determination of the ginnalin Acontent in leaves of <i>Acer tataricum</i> L. was ±1.24% with a confidence probability of 95%.</p>
