摘要

The virus-inhibitory and virucidal properties of semi-synthetic triterpenoids against herpes virus type 1 were studied. The action of the most promising compounds, also active against an acyclovir-resistant strain of herpes virus type 2, betulonic acid amide VIII and 2,3-seco-oleanane ketoester Vh, was studied on a model of cutaneous herpes infection in laboratory animals. The antiherpetic effect of 2% ointment based on ketoester Vh was experimentally shown to be comparable to the action of 5% acyclovir ointment, while the virucidal component played a key role in producing the antiviral effect.
