<p>1,2,3-Triazoles and their derivatives have recently gained considerable interest among synthetic chemists. They are potential and optimal pharmacophores in drug development due to the availability of various synthetic approaches to their production and a wide range of potential pharmacological effects such as antitumor, antimicrobial, antifungal, etc. The triazole fragment can also be used as a linker providing increased stability and decreased toxic effects of chemical structures. This review presents modern data on the production methods and physicochemical and pharmacological properties of 1,2,3-triazole derivatives with an emphasis on their possible mechanisms of action realized due to the presence of this heterocycle.</p>
