<p>The anti-inflammatory activity of nine compounds of the <i>N</i>,4-diaryl-1,6-dimethyl-2-thioxo(oxo)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidine-5-carboxamide series was studied. Seven compounds under the influence of which the inhibition of the inflammatory reaction in experimental animals amounted to 63 – 77%were found.</p>
