Determination of Favipiravir by Cathodic Electrochemiluminescence

An electrochemiluminescence method for the determination of favipiravir in aqueous solutions based on the use of cathode pulses in a system with an aluminum electrode is proposed. Cathodic electrochemiluminescence was observed in a flow cell in highly dilute nitric-acid and salt solutions of favipiravir. The selectivity of favipiravir determination in a solution of ammonium pyrophosphate in the presence of bromate was demonstrated.
