Airy-related beam produced from a Double half inverse Gaussian Hollow beam traveling through a multiple Optical Airy transform

In this paper, we investigate theoretically the conversion of a double-half inverse Gaussian hollow (DHIGH) beams through a succession of Airy transforms optical system. We demonstrate that the output field can be considered as a finite combination of individual Airy beams with specific weight and decay components. Using numerical examples, it’s found that the width of the main lobes of the generated beam becomes larger and the number of secondary lobes decreases as both the number of the Airy transforms and the associated Airy parameters are increased. In addition, compared with the single Airy transformation, it is found that the multiple Airy transformations cause an enhancement on the obtained Airy-related beam when the waist size of the initial beam becomes important. These results could be advantageous in beam shaping and optical communications.
