Modified extragradient method for variational inequalities with quasimonotonicity and non-Lipschitz mappings

This study investigates a projection-type method incorporating double inertial terms to solve quasimonotone variational inequalities with non-Lipschitz mappings in real Hilbert spaces. Our proposed algorithm integrates double inertial steps with the projection and contraction method. We establish sufficient conditions for weak convergence under quasimonotonicity and uniform continuity assumptions. Additionally, we give an R-linear convergence rate for the proposed method under strong pseudomonotonicity and Lipschitz continuity assumptions. Numerical results are provided to support our theoretical findings. The main contributions of this work extend and improve upon related research in the literature.
