A stochastic rumor spreading model considering self-awareness in a multilingual environment

This article delves into the dynamic behavior of rumor propagation models within multilingual environments, while also taking into account the impacts of time delay and stochastic disturbances on rumor dissemination. Firstly, it has been demonstrated that a unique globally positive solution exists for the rumor propagation model within a deterministic setting. Building upon this foundation, stochastic perturbations are subsequently introduced into the model. Secondly, the Ito’s formula is used to obtain the conditions of the disappearance and existence of rumors, providing insights for the formulation of rumor dissemination strategies. Finally, numerical simulations validate the rationality and validity of the theoretical analysis.
