摘要

This study investigates the nonlinear vibration behavior of an asymmetric rotor subjected to rotor-stator contact effects. The rotor is mounted on elastic supports and excited by an unbalanced force arising from the eccentricity of its center of gravity. The governing equations of motion are derived using Hamilton’s principle and Rayleigh beam theory, incorporating geometric and inertial nonlinearities due to shaft inextensibility. Numerical solutions reveal complex dynamic behaviors, including transitions among periodic, period-n, and chaotic motions. Bifurcation diagrams and phase portraits are utilized to explore the influence of key system parameters, such as rotational speed, contact stiffness, damping coefficient, and asymmetry.
