Asymmetric rogue waves induced by competitive local and nonlocal interaction
摘要
The phase diagram for different types of rogue waves is given with the competitive local and nonlocal interaction, including self-focusing and self-defocusing interaction. We present five types of novel asymmetric rogue wave patterns and provide a detailed introduction to the characteristics and regularities of these different modes. The structures and physical mechanisms of rogue waves have been extensively studied in self-focusing and self-defocusing local interaction. In recent years, various localized waves of the self-focusing nonlocal nonlinear Schrödinger equation have also been reported. The physical characteristics of asymmetric rogue waves are given in this paper. In addition, in the self-focusing nonlocal interactions, the initial amplitude and phase can also generate novel rogue waves. These results can further enrich our understanding of localized waves in nonlocal interactions.
