Impurity effects in a network of mean-field coupled Rössler oscillators
摘要
This study investigates the role of a single impurity on coupled Rössler oscillators. Contrary to our expectations, the impurity induces an impurity-enhanced system response and regular oscillations. Intriguingly, this maximal oscillation amplitude interpolates chaotic and amplitude death regimes. Upon variation of the impurity strength, a hysteretic loop appears as a jump between oscillating and steady-state regimes.
