Traumatic Brain Injury: Cognitive and Affective Disorders and Post-Traumatic Seizures

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a pressing problem in current healthcare and its dangers lie in its high prevalence and diverse consequences. This review examines the main characteristics of TBI, the mechanisms of brain damage, and current clinical research, as well as disorders of the cognitive and affective domains and the development of post-traumatic seizures.
