摘要

Objective. To identify the domain of functional activity of pseudo-allergy symptom complexes manifesting in the space of schizotypal personality disorder. Materials and methods. The study sample included 23 observations with manifestations resembling the clinical picture of allergic dermatoses and skin symptoms of allergic diseases without signs of somatic determination of allergic symptom complexes (history, laboratory tests). The cohort was examined using clinical, laboratory, and psychometric methods and data were processed statistically. Results. Two types of functional activity of pseudo-allergic reactions were distinguished: amplification and overlapping of the clinical manifestations of schizotypal personality disorder. According to the hypothesis put forward on the basis of the data obtained, pseudo-allergy refers to dimensions defined as adaptational in type (a marker of stabilization of the endogenous process), ensuring stability of the manifestations of schizotypal personality disorder within the clinical space of latent schizophrenia. Modern neurobiological and genetic research methods were employed to confirm this hypothesis. Conclusion. From the point of view of clinical practice, the phenomenon of pseudoallergy is a serious psychosomatic disorder requiring specialized multidisciplinary care involving specialists in allergology-immunology and psychiatry addressing the challenges of psychosomatic medicine.
