Study of the Structure and Properties of Blanks Obtained from Chips of Magnesium Alloy MA5 (AZ80A)
摘要
Results of a comprehensive analysis of features of formation of macro- and microstructure during compaction and plastic deformation of blanks from chips of magnesium alloy MA5 (AZ80A) under temperature and deformation conditions selected by physical and computer simulation are presented. The mechanical properties of the blanks and the defects of their structure are determined. Annealing and compacting rolling are recommended to eliminate the defects. The rolling removes the porosity of the blanks almost completely, the interparticle boundaries disappear, and the differences in the grain sizes are reduced. The mechanical properties of the blanks obtained meet the standard requirements for pressed bars from magnesium alloys.
