<p>In recent years, significant advancements have been made in the steelmaking operations at Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK, Lipetsk, Russia). New and renovated units in converter shops have been commissioned, while ongoing operational and technological enhancements are being implemented. This resulted in an increase in steel production up to 14.0 million tons in 2023, an expansion of the product range through introducing special purpose steel, and a&#xa0;notable improvement in product quality. The article presents the principal technological methods and results achieved to ensure the chemical composition of the primary elements within narrow specified limits, along with the macrostructure of slabs and the content of non-metallic inclusions.</p>
